My baby is 1!

While it's not like my baby hasn't been growing up too fast already, it is hard to believe that he is 1 year old!

Ezra took off walking at 10 months. So now he is busier than ever before. He loves being more mobile, and he communicates more too. Mr. Independent lately. :) He is still growing like a weed. At his 1 year check up, Ezra was at 95th percentile for both his weight and height.

As is tradition for our family, Ezra had a birthday cupcake the morning of his birthday. Needless to say, he loved it...

We have been practicing with "big boy cups" and I like to call this one "Got Milk?"...

A few presents the morning of his birthday...

Here some 1 year pictures. April 7th:

Holly's photo shoot:

Holly actually got all of the kids together and (love this one) full of personality:

We also (finally) got a family picture with our family, mom & dad, and Holly's family at the birthday party:

And here are a few other pictures from the party:

Who doesn't like a happy birthday boy covered in chocolate?! :)

Winter to Spring

Big apologies for the lack of pictures lately! Seems we have been busy, busy, busy. Of course, as the weather continued to get nicer, there was more to do :)

So I don't break a promise... a few sledding pictures:

The boys are doing well. Ezra had too many ear infections since the end of November, and poor little guy had fluid on his ear the full 40 days prior to his surgery. But, since getting tubes in his ears (end of March), he is happy and healthy as can be. Asher enjoyed winter and has loved playing outside even more as the weather warmed. My big boy has been loving preschool, and it is hard to believe that the end of his 1st year of school is just around the corner.

For a few highlights of Easter, see Holly's BLOG: http://chaserandkate.blogspot.com/

Now on to the big event of Spring... our little Ezra turned 1 year old!

Asher who?

Well, Asher has been quite busy playing at home and having fun at preschool. He is a great big brother and a big helper too. Following are some pictures of Asher the last month or so playing and exploring his many pretend roles.

After craft time and painting, Asher decides to be a writer and paint his name:

Ezra at 9 months

Well, Ezra is growing up fast. He loves to pull himself up to standing and has been practicing walking by cruising between furniture. Ezra keeps busy playing, but he now prefers to explore the toys the big kids play with. Here are some pictures from January...

Out Visiting

Mom, Holly, Katelyn, Asher, & I went out visiting after Christmas.

It was nice to see Erica again. The kids chatted a bit and then entertained themselves with the organ, singing, and dancing while we continued chatting. They also enjoyed looking around the farm, despite the cold weather.

Then we ventured on to see their Great Grandma Gleason. It was a real treat for them to have her play the piano for them. She sang "I remember the day you were born" to Katelyn and Asher and then "Guess I'll Go Eat Worms."

Christmas with the Whites

Glad to be able to get together with Chris, Kerri, Zach, & Ben. Here are a few pictures of everyone from our Christmas celebration.

Thanks to Chris & Kerri for getting presents for the kids. I know they were a big hit!
